Canon has this printer series which comes under the canon g2000 series. There are different models in this printers series. The models are:

• Canon pixma g2000
•  Canon pixma g2010
• Canon pixma g2020

But the problem is that g2012 is not listed on canons official website. 

The reason is that Canon g2012 comes under the g2010 series. The drivers of canon pixma g2010 are also for g2012. Therefore you couldn't find any driver file which is marked as a g2012. 

Here are the steps how you can download the drivers: 

1.  Go to the Canon official website. and go to the driver downloads sections Canon official driver download section click on this link. 

   

 

1. It will auto-detect your operating system. If not then click on dropdown and select the right one. 
2. On the below search panel Enter the model number of your printer. In this case our model number is g2012 but as our printer comes under g2010 series, we have to enter the g2010. 
3. now select the model from the search results.  After selecting the model you will see a screen like this 

•  Select the type as a drivers and click on search. 
• Now you will see list of various drivers for your selected options. In the list we have to the following drivers : G2010 series MP Drivers Ver.1.01 (Windows) 

• Download those drivers and extract file in the computer.

• Run the setup. the procedure is given in installer itself. But all you need is just run setup     and wait for it to detect the printer. Once the printer is detected it will automatically closes the printer window. 

•  Yeah. you have done it. You have downloaded the drivers and now your printer must be     working properly without any problem.
